A new event celebrating our local food scene is debuting this summer. Indulge Milwaukee is a food, wine and spirit tasting happening Aug. 20-21 at American Family Field (aka, the Milwaukee Brewers stadium).  

Hosted by Wisconsin Restaurant Association Education Foundation, the event includes several spotlighted components:
  1. A Grand Tasting Area with food from 30-some Milwaukee restaurants and chefs. Along with the “gourmet bites,” there will be hundreds of wines and spirits sourced from all over the world. Participating restaurants include Antigua Latin Inspired Kitchen, Bacchus – A Bartolotta Restaurant, Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro, Blue’s Egg, Carnevor, Onesto, The Cheel, Maxie’s, Mo’s, a Place for Steaks and Ristorante Bartolotta dal 1993.
  2.  A Proudly Wisconsin Cheese & Wine Pavilion, featuring award-winning artisanal cheeses paired with wines and charcuterie.
  3.  Culinary & Mixology Demos from award-winning chefs, distillers, mixologists and sommeliers 
  4. A VIP Experience, which they’re calling a “one-of-a-kind, extraordinary on-field stadium experience at American Family Field.” Spirits, craft cocktails and wine pours will be paired with culinary creations from The Bartolotta Restaurants.

A new culinary festival of food, wine and spirits is coming to American Family Field in August, and tickets are on sale now.

Indulge Milwaukee promises to offer tastings from award-winning chefs, mixologists and wine professionals with 100% of the proceeds to benefit the Wisconsin Restaurant Association Education Foundation, a charitable organization that provides education and training to current and future industry professionals.

The event hours are noon to 5 p.m. Aug. 20 and 21. The cost is $150 for a Grand Tasting ticket, which provides entrance into the Grand Tasting Area, the Wine & Cheese Pavilion, and the Culinary and Mixology Demonstration Area. A limited number of VIP tickets will be sold at $350 each, which give additional access to a two hour on-field stadium experience of tastings, including sitting in the dugout.

This summer marks the debut of an exclusive food, wine and spirit tasting experience that celebrates Milwaukee’s extraordinary food scene. Indulge Milwaukee will captivate the tastes and senses of 4,000 indulgers over 2 days at Milwaukee’s iconic American Family Field. Attendees will explore culinary creations from the Cream City’s talented chefs, gourmet bites from Wisconsin’s specialty food vendors, and wine and spirit tastings from the best local, national and international brands.   

Indulge Milwaukee Highlights:
  • Grand Tasting Area – Features culinary bites from 30+ Milwaukee restaurants and chefs catering to all tastes. Pair gourmet bites with hundreds of wines and spirits from all over the world.
  • Proudly Wisconsin Cheese & Wine Pavilion – Features a great selection of the state’s award-winning artisanal cheeses which can be paired with the perfect wines and charcuterie fixings.
  • Culinary & Mixology Demonstrations – Award-winning chefs, distillers, mixologists and sommeliers will lead demonstrations creating culinary specialties and cutting-edge cocktails and pairings 
  • VIP Experience – A one-of-a-kind, extraordinary on-field stadium experience at American Family Field. The most sought-after spirits, craft cocktails and pours of wine will be paired with exquisite culinary tastings crafted exclusively by the Bartolotta Restaurant Group.

Indulge Milwaukee is hosted by the Wisconsin Restaurant Association Education Foundation with presenting sponsor Badger Liquor. The organization expects to sell 4,000 tickets for the two-day event (2,000 for Saturday and 2,000 for Sunday). A limited number of VIP Tickets will be sold for each of the days. Event hours are 12:00 – 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 20 and Sunday, August 21, 2022. The cost is $150 for Grand Tasting tickets. 100% of the proceeds of Indulge Milwaukee benefit the Wisconsin Restaurant Association Education Foundation, a 501c3 charitable organization that provides education and training to current industry professionals and tomorrow’s future leaders. The Foundation offers these programs, ensuring the success of the food industry: 
  • Scholarships – awards more than $20,000 annually to students pursuing a hospitality, culinary or food-related degree
  • Wisconsin ProStart – a hospitality and culinary program in 115+ Wisconsin high schools annually igniting more than 6,300 students’ passion for the hospitality industry and empowering them through training, mentorships, networking, competition and experiential learning opportunities.
  • Workforce Development – partners with and supports local workforce training programs that help train and prepare adults for jobs in the foodservice industry
